How it all started
My name is Alex Tutwiler and I started La Boutique for Kids in 2007, as a sole proprietary company. I have two children and manage my business from home, making sure that I can have some free time for my family. I love shopping, especially for bargains! I wanted to do that more often and share my great findings. That's how I had the idea of bringing great deals to my friends, who became customers!
When I was selecting the kind of children clothing I would be targeting, I realized what a difference there was between the large discount department stores' brands and the brands I chose. I was thrilled when I was able to buy quality clothing for children at wholesale price! I would not want to buy full price myself, so I love the fact that I can sell great apparels at great discounts, since I don't have a store front to pay for.
My hope is that La Boutique for Kids grows exponentially, building a network of loyal customers, who will want to come back to us to refill their children's closet every season! Thank you for your interest and support, we hope you will become one of our happy customers very soon!
Home parties
When you host a home party with us, we will create a link for your party in our "Schedule" page, on the date you've selected. You will invite your friends, who will sign up for your party via that link, so we can have a formal head count. This will also help us make sure we bring everyone's shopping requests at your party.
The day of the party, we will come over about an hour before the scheduled time, in order to set up clothing racks and baby gifts display. If you wish, you can have the exclusive first look at what we have to offer that day during the set up. The home party begins by a short introduction/presentation, when we will demonstrate a few of the baby accessories available for sale. After that, everyone is invited to shop away! We use a cash register, so check out is as quick and easy as in a store, no order form to fill out; all you can buy is there for you to take home that day!

Too busy to host a home party? You can still enjoy your own home shopping spree with our private sale service: We will come to you with the inventory you wish to shop for, at your convenience. We charge only $10 for this service, and will waive this service fee if you spend more than $75 then. If you wish to schedule a private sale, please contact us , and let us know when we could book one just for you. Also, please provide the chil(dren) gender(s), size(s) and season(s) you will want to shop for. If you are already a customer of ours, private sales are a free service to you!
Payments and return policy
You can pay by cash, check or credit cards, along with an ID. We gladly accept to exchange merchandise that has still the tag attached and/or is in the original packaging.
